StudGuard, a product and brand belonging to Ingreto, is proud to have sponsored the South African Warmblood Stallion/Colt Class at the Landrover Horse of the Year (HOY) Competition that took place on Friday, 23 February 2018. The winner of this class, that also walked away with a StudGuard hamper, was the beautiful bay Dane Stud Fine Art (Fidertanz x Sunset Hit), with reserve champion Berghof Eragon (Edward x Metternich).
Dane Stud Fine Art went on to be the reserve champion in the South African Warmblood (SAW) Grand Champion Class with his dam, Adela Jewel Gersdorf, winning the Championship.
The competitors in the “In Hand” classes were judged by Jan Crome-Sperling, who travelled all the way from Germany for his third visit to South Africa.
The 2018 Landrover HOY Competition was held from 19 to 25 February at the renowned Kyalami Equestrian Park Club in Gauteng. “Breeders travelled from all around the country to enter their beautiful horses and the effort was evident,” says Sonia Kittle, Sales Manager.
It was truly an honour to be part of such a prestigious event, and we would like to congratulate all the winners.
